Gown fitting few weeks back. Love my wedding gown rather than the evening gown. Heh.
I will be asking the bridal shop in TW to courier me the wedding gown and evening gown for my actual day, I guess. I believe theirs will be so much nicer. I will need to ask my boss for permission to get Judy Wedding to courier via our company courier services. Fedex only takes one day (: And we get very good discount since we are using their services and the plus point is, I can get the awb#!
The plan goes this way: I will wear the wedding gown I chose from Bridal Closet.. followed by the wedding gown I bring in from TW for my ROM. Then I will wear the evening gown from TW and followed by the evening gown from BridalCloset. In this way, I can wear all the gowns I choose! Idea right? But only if time allow...
I have yet to finailized my photographer and make up-artist. However, I shortlisted a few. Photography will be either Andy Loh Photography or Jeffery Photography. Both are good (:
Make-up artist will be either Sam Ong or Kenneth Lee. Both work for mag like Brides, Female etc.. I always think male make up artists are much more patient =D
I will get CP to be my videograher. Seen his works, think he is not bad & the morning highlights he edited are funny. Forums have good reviews on him. Why not?
On the other hand, bf's cousin works in a media company and introduced us this guy who work for F.I.R concert & he quoted us reasonable prices cuz we were introduced by his cousin. Now, Im hesitating on my shortlisted VG+PG again.
From a list of people whom I called everyday to ask for quotes on their packages, now Im spoilt for choices. LOL
This marriage thing really costs us a bomb. We spend almost 60K on everything. I hate it when people are telling me that this marriage will make us lose alot of money. But, SO WHAT? Hello, the money come out from dearest and my own pocket. We did not ask a single cent from our parents. Tell me, how many people did that? Im not saying that those who get from parents shouldn get married, but now the thing is I did not ask a single cent from my parents, why those who are not involved or those who I did not even ask a single cent from keep saying those things like "go overseas honeymoon/ wedding. Save alot money." -__-" Really damn pissed with their comments. Get this right, 60K comes from OUR OWN pocket.
This is only a once in a lifetime experience for us. We want it grand, we want everyone to share happiness for us. We want everyone to enjoy on our big day. I don't give a damn on how much AngPow money you all give.
(I will have a notebook on that day to keep track who gave me how much AP. You better wish you never invite me to your wedding, or I will give you back the same AP you gave me that night...Wahahaha)
Dad & Mom are really nice to gave us back all the AP they got from our relatives for the dinner. Dearest's parents are doing the same as well. Thanks Dad(s) & Mom(s)!
I know this is for our own good. But dearest & I will still give them some money as a token.. cuz we "patang". Heh.
On a lighter note, our wedding bands are settled! Thanks to future MIL. We went to buy my "Si Dian Jin" on that very same day we got our wedding bands. At first, we wanted to head down to ION to get the rings cuz we are going to TW for PS next month end (We are leaving on 28th Feb & coming back on the 7th March) in which dearest thinks that with a wedding band, the PS will look more meaningful. Well, I agreed (:
Okay, back to "Si Dian Jin".. I did not chose any gold for that.. nor any white gold. Mine is all diamonds! Diamond earrings, diamond necklace etc.. That costs future MIL a bomb. Thanks Mom (call in advance first, hee). We bought from this shop at People Park Center. Future MIL know the shop owner & dearest and I were very worried about the quality and stuffs. But we were wrong, they sells better quality than those in LH, GH, SK etc.. prolly because of the shop brand, thats why LH they all sell so expensive. The boss is a shareholder in Jumbo Seafood, hence I think prolly is trustable? Anyw, we got discounts as well cuz dearest's uncle who is the Ng Ah Sio (The Bak Ku Teh boss) knows them pretty well. And with future MIL, we got even better discounts cuz they know each other. So overall, we are happy with the diamonds =D
(Imagine future MIL spent almost 11K on the "Si Dian Jin" but after further discounts, I still feel heart pain for her.) I really love my "Si Dian Jin"!
Im looking very forward to 13th Nov 2010. Yes, that is the actual day!
I wanna go Maldives for my Honeymoon. But dearest said he wants to go Paris, LA, NZ. Arrrgg, I want Maldives!!
